Another great review. It’s funny that you brought up the weather thing. I was finally able to get them to take off the weather icon on our new site.

I agree with most of what you said. There were just way too many menus on the homepage (although they were all well done). The design was good, but the grey bar at the top looked out of place for some reason and then it changed when you clicked into the site. They also had way too much js loading. I know we’re living in the age of broadband, but that site seemed a bit heavy to me.

Again, great review and I look forward to the next one!

For sure, I am not sure what the fixation is on up to date weather unless you are a meteorologist school.

Menu’s after taking a second look are nuts IMO. There is 246 links on the homepage! Waaaay too many directions a lost user could go in. The size of the page is completely unacceptable, quickness is hotness. Being light and nimble people will not be afraid to click on a wrong link to go exploring because that 10 seconds extra wait time will kill them. light and limber = more clicks.

Thanks for watching, pass it on. The more people that people that watch the more people can start to understand user experience.
