Today’s Tip:
Starting over is not always a good thing. Make sure when a user clicks on a specific program the page they are presented with next is all about that specific program. They already trudged through figuring out the navigation of one site, there is no need for them to start over and figure out the navigation of the next.

Nick,
First of all, the college’s name is pronounced to rhyme with “mine” and “fine”
I teach at Otterbein, and appreciate your comments on our website. It is in need of overhaul and is, as you point out, difficult to navigate. Can you suggest some college websites that we might use as models? I’m going to forward your review to the people responsible for the website, and hope that they’ll take your criticisms to heart as they think about rebuilding it.
Thanks, again!
