Today’s Tip:
Carl Sandburg does an awesome job integrating the sign-up/login process to apply into every page of the site. This gets the prospective student one step closer to applying. It also gives them the ability to provide you with information so you can customize pages and messages.

I really liked how Carl Sandburg designed the site to make it easy for the prospective student to apply. Easy to start the application process.
What I didn’t like was that once a website visitor lands on the application page, there was no information on:
1. how long it will take to complete the application
2. the information needed to complete the application
I agree, the “click here” link drives me crazy, along with any link that opens a video, audio, or PDF file without telling me. It’s easy to add the word “video”, “audio”, “PDF” with the link.
As you know, I have mixed feelings about PDF files on websites; the information can almost always be converted to HTML.
During the 10 second test, the sonogram image grabbed my attention. At first I wondered if there was some issue with the browser. Didn’t realize it was an image promoting their program.
I gave the site a “my style”; it was easy to navigate, clean design, though coding could be improved. Overall, I thought it was a pleasant user experience.
