Today’s Tip:

Ensure your page content is readable by using a large enough typeface and sufficient line height. Personally I would not use less that 11pt font size or less than 1.3em line height. In addition using bold type throughout your pages is never acceptable.

I agree on the home page, the events/news section was distracting and didn’t fit in with the design of the rest of the page. Dashed lines under text make me think of acronyms, not links.

It was interesting to see they’re using a different content management system: TYPO CMS. I don’t see many sites that use it.

Looks like they’re working through standardizing the look and feel of the site; I counted four different types of pages, with no consistency as I browsed their website. If I followed your review on the video correctly, visiting Academics page this afternoon shows a different look and feel than the page you saw.

So frustrating to click on a Program, only to have a PDF file open. Don’t know why (1) it’s not a web page and (2) they didn’t tell the site visitor they were clicking on a PDF (I hate clicking on a link only to discover it’s PDF and I didn’t know it).
