CSS frameworks are great for keeping a consistent codebase throughout multiple sites but should just be considered a starting point. Once the initial site is setup, pull out the elements needed and get rid of the rest. Some frameworks can carry a large overhead that just isn’t needed once the site goes to production.

    Nick, thanks for the review and we appreciate your feedback. Sounds like we have some improvements we need to make. One note, on doctype is that we are using the HTML5 standard for that which might help explain why it did not look like it was declared as .

    I have to say after more investigation, you were correct about the main page not having a doctype while all other pages were typed as HTML5. Again thanks for your feedback.
