Nice review. It was very interesting to hear the opinion of someone outside of the university. Thanks for pointing out the errors with the search in the footer, we have since fixed the coding issue, and have fixed several other bugs since you’ve done this video, and are also working towards more improvements in areas that you mentioned in the future.
Two things that I feel are worth pointing out based on your comments during your scoring wrap up is that other than a lot of the images in the news, the majority of the imagery used throughout the site section, such as programs, are of real students who are enrolled at Sprott. Also, you mention that this was a WordPress template that was added and slightly modified, which is extremely inaccurate. This theme was completely custom design and developed in-house from the ground up.

Troy,
Thanks for the comment. I’m glad to hear that you have such flexibility to react on the things I ran across. This skill is the difference between a successful website and one that continues to disappoint.
Thanks for the clarification about the WordPress theme. I’m glad to hear that wasn’t just a drop in. The comment was made based on a few minute observation. Looking deeper I’m sure I would have discovered far more. I’m always going to miss something when packing what should be a two week UX investigation in to 15 minutes.
Keep up the rock star work!
